Durability meets safety The modern architecture of a building also deserves contemporary outdoor furniture – this was the clear requirement given to Westfalia when the rooftop terrace of the newly constructed school building needed to be furnished. The challenge: furniture that not only complements the modern look but is also weather-resistant and provides safety. Thanks to Westfalia’s dedicated support, which guided the project from the start, a perfect solution was found. The durable and securely anchored Govaplast benches not only offer a comfortable place to study outdoors but also prevent unintended movement thanks to their stable installation. This allows students to gather on the rooftop terrace in a safe environment to study, do homework, or simply enjoy the fresh air. A combination of Matrix benches with and without backrests, along with Jupiter waste bins, blends beautifully into the space. Westfalia oversaw the entire process from planning to implementation, including a visual presentation to give the client a clear overview. Using a crane, the furniture was lifted onto the rooftop terrace and perfectly placed – a project that demonstrates how custom solutions can enhance modern learning environments.
